The Ireland Rugby Team History portrays the island of Ireland for both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Ireland played their first test match against England on 15th of February 1875 after formation of the Irish Football Union in 1874. England won that match by 7–0. In 1881, Ireland Rugby Union Team first won a test against Scotland at Ormeau in Belfast.
